Description.
Document Comparator makes it possible to find similar documents. To find out more about its principles of operation, click here.

This Online Tool illustrates Intellexer Document Comparator’s capabilities by using the example of the database of scientific patents from http://www.uspto.gov/ (USPTO). For your convenience, we have classified these patents into several categories.

Getting started:

1. Open any category and select any document.
2. To view the full content of a document, click on its number.
3. To find all documents similar to the one you've selected in a database, click "find similar".

4. The located documents will be rated according to their Proximity Value. You may set a minimal Proximity Value. The lesser the Proximity Value, the larger will be the list of located documents.

5.In the list of located documents, click Preview collocations to view relevant sentences from the source and the located document. In the Demo version of our document file comparison tool, Document Comparator, you can see only one sentence from each document at a time.
