Document Comparator Principle of Operation

The Document Comparator Principle of Operation consists in retrieving the key concepts in each document and comparing them with those of other documents.

Text to Concept At the first stage, Document Comparator analyzes each text document and converts it into a specific, automatic form that represents the essential meaning of the document. In this new representation, concrete words and phrases, initially used as the term base for the documents, acquire a generalized structure. Later, it will allow the processing of information on the level of its meaning rather than by key words.

Index
The Index is generated out of concepts from pre-processed documents. The Index functions together with a variety of Semantic Tools - Summarizer, Comparator, Natural Language Search Engine, etc. The Index can operate external databases that are required for the effective functioning of document/knowledge management systems and which process hundreds of thousands of documents.

Semantic comparison
The semantic tools employed in Document Comparator are designed to analyze and compare particularly essential Concepts contained in the Index, processing the meaning of both separate sentences and entire documents irrespective of the kinds of words used.

View Results
Document Comparator ensures quick and easy retrieval of entire groups of documents which are similar in meaning. Additional tools make it possible to manipulate (reduce or increase) the number of located documents according to a requested minimum Proximity Value. Document Comparator makes it possible to preview portions of documents that are similar in meaning.
